The (fashion) look: Such an optimistic season deserves an uplifting bridal look. “Springs gowns should always be fresh and elegant. Pale Blush, nude and powder blues hues are perfect, as are favourite fabrics such as organza, taffeta and lace. Floral Embellishments also reflect the season and give outfits a wonderful, feminine feel. If your hears is set on a white wedding gown, incorporate pastels through your shoes, jewellery, hair accessories or bouquet.
The Logistics: Spring in South Africa’s most popular wedding season so make sure you book your suppliers at least six months in advance! Keep in mind that Gardens can still look drab and that the temperature may still be cool. Early rains can also put a damper on your day.
